Osprey is a wonderful venue to get married! It was love in first sight when I visited the location and I had my heart set right away. The entire wedding preparation was smooth - special thanks to coordinator Brooke and Meghan! Their experiences, quick response and problem solving skills were amazing. Thanks to them, I never have to worry about details. The best part was, I had a wonderful wedding that I will never forget. If you are interested in this venue, be quick! We wanted a date in May but it was booked all the way to the end of September. You won't be disappointed.

I just got married this past Saturday (10/6/18) and cannot say enough good things about this venue. It was the first venue we saw and nothing compared. Not only is the overall property stunning, but they're so flexible and responsive. We worked with Brooke in the beginning, who was extremely helpful during our first few meetings and made the contracting process super easy. Closer to the day we were assigned Meghan as our Day of Coordinator. Meghan was unbelievably responsive. Any time of day that we had questions she would respond immediately. On the day, she kept us on track and made sure my cup Stayed full of wine! Planning a wedding is definitely one of the most stressful things I've ever done, but the Osprey's and their team helped to relieve a lot of that stress with their quick responses, flexibility, and just general experience. We received SO many compliments on the venue and I would not only recommend them, but hope that I can go back for other events in the future.

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said? The venue is absolutely beautiful and in such a peaceful place along the river. Our coordinator, Meghan, was phenomenal. After some unforeseen circumstances, we learned that our original day-of coordinator was no longer available about three months before our wedding. When Meghan stepped in, we quickly realized she would far exceed our expectations. She connected with us shortly afterward and provided incredibly helpful planning documents - answering questions we didn't even know we had. Meghan was detail-oriented, organized, and communicative. She took charge early and coordinated with our other vendors well before the big day. As an added bonus, she's also an officiant, which allowed my sister to lead our ceremony without needing to get ordained. At the rehearsal, Meghan was already familiar with the venue layout, clearly explained how the day would unfold, and ensured our wedding party felt prepared. On the wedding day, she arrived early and set everything up exactly as we had envisioned. Thanks to Meghan, we didn't feel a single moment of stress - we knew she had everything under control. She seamlessly managed timelines, vendor communication, setup, and breakdown. Meghan even led the cleanup and made sure the venue was left spotless. We hired Meghan Farrar as our day of coordinator for our April wedding at Rust Manor and would highly recommend couples hire her. From the get go, Meghan was an organized, kind, reassuring voice for us while planning the wedding. She was also the only coordinator to let us know Virginia's residency requirement regarding officiants. Meghan was super familiar with Rust Manor. In the countdown to our wedding, Meghan checked in to make sure things were going well, answer any questions we have, and organize us for the walkthrough. Though we hired Meghan primarily for the day of our wedding, she was available to us throughout the planning process. In the month run up to our wedding, Meghan greatly assisted us in organizing the little details of the day and coordinating with our vendors, many of whom had worked previously with her and were excited to work with her again. Prior to our wedding, Meghan coordinated with our various POCs for vendors and the venue, making sure they knew who to reach out to on the day of our wedding and the timing of the day. Additionally, Meghan helped us through some last minute changes due to unexpected events. She was incredibly accommodating and reassuring. On the day of our wedding, Meghan was everything we needed her to be and more. She managed to keep us on schedule, comfortable, and immensely helped our stress. Her kind words and warm personality shined throughout the day and made our wedding day all the more special. We would recommend Meghan for any future wedding.

When the best planner of one of my friend groups recommended Meghan, I knew I would be in safe hands. Even so, having Meghan as our day-of coordinator exceeded my wildest expectations. After speaking to a few wedding coordinators prior to Meghan and feeling underwhelmed, I found Meghan's "no BS" approach to be a breath of fresh air-- she's super responsive, tells it like it is, and above all, always put our needs first. When we booked Meghan as our day-of-coordinator, we didn't expect a "week-of" absolute angel of a human to save our wedding. But she did. I don't think we're overstating it when we say Meghan was the glue that kept our wedding together. Three days before our wedding, our band dropped out. She worked all day and night to get us a replacement, frankly just as good as the original. She also made sure our day was perfect, regardless of the torrential downpour all day and all night. All we had to do was enjoy our wedding day - she made sure of that. Beyond that, Meghan is incredibly professional, organized, and a true joy to work with. IF YOU WANT YOUR WEDDING TO RUN SMOOTHLY THEN YOU NEED TO BOOK MEGHAN FARRAR FROM FARREVER AFTER EVENTS. I came across her website randomly and contacted her on a Saturday morning. Next thing I knew, she contacted me in a few hours. She is super sweet, helpful, and very prompt. Talk about a speedy response! Whenever I emailed her, she responded fast! That is what I like about Meghan. She is very honest and efficient at doing her job. She will not waste any time and will get things done. I only booked her as my month/day of coordinator. However, I wish I knew about her when I first planned my wedding, because had I known how amazing she is, I would of hired her to help me plan my whole wedding. I was originally one of those people who thought I did not need help with planning my wedding. Why should I pay someone to help me plan when I could save money and do it myself? Well, I was wrong. Things started to creep up and I clearly needed some help. I am so glad my mother convinced me to hire a coordinator. I am trilled it was Meghan that I booked because she helped me sit back and relax. Long story short, Meghan was a pleasure to work with. After a few months of planning, my now husband and I realized that we really needed a month of coordinator to make sure everything went down with as little stress as possible. We clicked with Meghan immediately, and I instantly felt more relaxed knowing that she was there to help. Meghan went with us to our final walk through, kept up with last minute changes, had good relationships with all of the vendors we chose, and most importantly, reminded us that we could choose or not choose to do whatever we had planned the day of our wedding/reception so we could relax and enjoy ourselves as much as possible. Do yourself a favor and hire Meghan! By far one of the best decisions we made as part of our wedding. Our venue actually required us to have a 'day of" coordinator and I couldn't of imagined doing it without her! I met Meghan in 2019 to prep for my June 6 2020 wedding, which had to be postponed for COVID. She was really great to work with pre-wedding and I felt like I really vibed with her, so when we tried to book her at a later summer 2020 date we worked around her schedule and the venue's as she was that important to us. Beautiful waterfront venue

I got married in September 2018 and it was truly a beautiful day! The Osprey's is so gorgeous inside, with separate spaces for your reception dinner and the party! The outdoor space is so beautiful! It rained on my day so we had to move things inside. I was sad until I felt the intimacy of having my family and friends so close to me. The caterer we chose works with the venue so their service and collaboration with venue staff was seamless. Our coordinator Meghan was awesome, attentive and so professional. She worked with our personal coordinator to make sure the evening was perfect! We had the freedom to decorate and move about freely as we desired. Four months after our wedding, when having issues with the videographer we chose, I called Meghan for advice and support. Without hesitation, she contacted the videographer to help mitigate our concern! I would recommend this venue for the support they offered us from our initial tour, to booking our package, deciding how our day should flow and making sure we had everything we needed, down to the card box! People are still talking about it. Oh! AND we were 2 brides! We felt nothing but loved and welcomed!

I cannot say enough good things about the Osprey's - Meghan and Brooke were both amazing and made my wedding as stress-free as possible. This is the only venue in the area we found that included more than just the space for an affordable price. I had my heart set on an outdoor wedding, but it was pouring rain the day of and I was so glad we chose this venue! The indoor ceremony space was gorgeous and the rain drops on the huge windows gave it a very romantic feel. Meghan took care of everything the day of - if anything went wrong, I never knew about it. For someone who usually feels the need to be in control of everything, I felt completely comfortable handing over responsibilities to Meghan. It's all the little things that I never had to worry about - like putting wine in my car to take with us. I mentioned it and not two minutes later I saw Meghan grabbing the bottles for us. We were also able to drop off decorations a couple days before and didn't have to worry about set up or break down (including flipping the room from ceremony to dinner). She helped guide us through timelines, what's typical, and what works best. A+ venue with phenomenal staff!

My husband and I had the most perfect and beautiful wedding at the Osprey's yesterday. Our coordinator Meghan was fantastic and made sure that everything went smoothly and I didn't have to worry about anything in the planning process or especially on the day of. Meghan was so amazing!! I remember turning to my husband the day of our wedding and telling him that she was worth every single penny we spent to work with her. We had a phone consultation to make sure we all vibed, and then she came into play in the planning process about a month before the wedding. During that time, she went to our a venue for a walk- through (a meeting which my husband and I completely missed due to having the time down wrong, but she showed up for and completed anyway and was completely cool about it despite our many apologies). She kept me on track with reminders to make sure I got everything to her and the other vendors on time, and took care of every single thing the day-of. And I mean EVERYTHING. She met us at the venue and walked us all through the rehearsal the day before the wedding, and the day-of she got all of our decorations into the right places, handled all the vendors, and even brought me glasses of champagne when my hands were empty! Any time I needed her she was right there, and when I didn't, she was working invisibly on the sidelines somewhere. Many vendors commented on how I was such a "chill bride" on my wedding day, and I KNOW it was because I had Meghan there to handle everything. If I had to do it all again, I'd work with her every time!

Meghan was the planner for our daughter's wedding in July. She was AWESOME! We loved her warm personality and the time she took to make the day so special. When we finally met Meghan, she made us feel so prepared for our wedding day and took all of our stress away. On the day of, you could tell how hard she was working to make everything perfect and meaningful, and that is exactly what she did. Her expertise in all things wedding related amazes me, and I still to this day get comments from family and our bridal party on how amazing Meghan was and how easy she made the entire process from start to finish. The Osprey's was the perfect location for my wedding day! Working with Brooke initially was awesome as she answered all of our questions and gave us the tour, and then working with Meghan leading up to the big day was great too. She was always so responsive, which is EXACTLY what you need when planning a wedding. I didn't have to worry about much on the day of the wedding and felt at ease. We couldn't find the flower girl flowers, but with quick action, we improvised and made it happen. My husband also got some pretty bad bites on his neck; one simple ask to Meghan if she had any alcohol or any type of medicine to put on it, and magically, benadryl cream appeared! The venue is gorgeous with lots of space for guests to be inside or outside. We had games outside for cocktail hour and were able to put our own signage up around the venue for a personal touch.

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Meghan! She was the day-of coordinator for our 80-person wedding at Airlie in Warrenton VA and she did an amazing job! For the months leading up to our wedding she was always very responsive to all our questions, attended our walk-through and helped coordinate details with our venue as we got closer (30-45 days out), communicated our final timeline with all our vendors, and was all around incredibly organized, keeping us on track and prepared for the big day. Most importantly, on the day of our wedding Meghan managed everything behind the scenes so that we could have an stress-free day, keeping everyone and everything on track, executing on our vision perfectly. I should also mention that while Meghan is super organized and professional she is also fun to work with!! She has both a great personality and very direct style, which is the perfect combination (during what can be a stressful time for couples planning a wedding!) We came to Meghan very late in the game because we didn't know that we would need a coordinator, and even though we were technically very behind, she was willing and able to jump on board and help us - and BOY did she help us. We were feeling extremely overwhelmed and a bit in over our heads. Meghan always responded extremely quickly to all of our questions, updates or changes, and was on top of every detail. She executed our vision for the venue's set up flawlessly and kept everything running smoothly the entire night. We had a great experience working with her and highly recommend her to any couples looking for a day of coordinator or planner.

From the moment my now husband and I met Meghan we knew we wanted her to be our wedding coordinator. Meghan gave us a tour of the venue we ended up choosing and her enthusiasm, authenticity, and confidence not only sold us on the gorgeous venue but on her as well. I cannot express enough how personable, funny, and kind Meghan is which makes trusting her with your special day an easy task. Leading up to the wedding Meghan was so gracious answering all of my many questions and being supportive in any way she could. All the paperwork she sends gave me amazing guidelines on everything from choosing vendors to tipping. I can genuinely say I would not have had as much fun at my wedding as I did without her. In the weeks/days leading up to the wedding Meghan organized ALL my vendors flawlessly to ensure they were on the same page and knew their roles for the day of. The day of execution of all vendors setting up went flawlessly and Meghan setup all my decor and centerpieces beautifully. It is truly a talent to bring someone else's vision to life and that is exactly what she did. Not to mention she was checking in on me and my husband throughout to make sure we had eaten, had drinks, and that we were doing okay! She also helped me with changing out of my dress later in the night! I can honestly say Meghan was the BEST decision I ever made. She really is just an awesome person and excels at her job because she truly wants to make your wedding special. So many of my guests came up to me to express how impressed they were with Meghan and that they wish they had someone like her at their wedding. I'm telling you right now, HIRE HER if you want to experience an epic wedding day.

Meghan did a fantastic job! She went above and beyond to help us and provide resources while we were planning, and she made sure everything flowed perfectly during the wedding. Our day was so beautiful and wonderful, and Meghan played a critical role in bringing our vision to life!

I'm so glad we decided to go with Meghan as our coordinator. Prior to the big day, her checklists and guides were very helpful in keeping us organized and reminding us when to have certain tasks done. Her communication was always super fast and answered any questions we had efficiently. On wedding day, she was instrumental in keeping everything in line and on time. She was very attentive to our needs, making sure we were never hungry/thirsty or wanting for anything. Everything ended up going very smoothly and we had the best day ever!

Meghan was nothing but amazing to work with. Her checklists and guides made planning so much easier and included a lot of things I didn't even think to consider. She was quick to respond to any and all questions we had, which helped decrease my stress level drastically lol. Our day went by without any issues all thanks to Meghan. We hired Meghan as a day-of coordinator and she was very responsive to all my questions, her wedding checklist was super helpful, and she had a wealth of wedding planning knowledge which we were lacking. On our final walkthrough, she was sick but video called in and made the best out of it. She was fantastic on our wedding day as well, keeping everything running smoothly and on schedule -- our guests were impressed by how well-organized everything was!

Meghan was a dream to work with. I had no intentions of hiring a day of coordinator but not only does Meghan offer officiant services she also can allow family or friends to officiate while she does day of coordination. Literally a dream come true. From every single detail Meghan came in and took charge of all our set up and issues (this bride was not feeling well and she had ideas for how to deal with). Meghan is nothing but professional and flexible at every turn. I can't wait to work with her again. Our venue, Hummingbird, and all our vendors also raved about her.

Meghan is a dream to work with! I had no idea how to coordinate a timeline for a wedding and how vital it was to ensure the day running smoothly. Meghan asked all the questions necessary to fill out the timeline but also had the quickest response time I have ever seen when I had random questions. She is extremely accommodating, helpful, and knows when to get people into action. I had a DIY wedding. I mean Boxes upon BOXES of decor and she instructed me in the best way to help her set up for the reception. I followed her guidelines and we reviewed it together on rehearsal day. She knows how to set herself up for success. She hardly asked me anything during my getting ready for my wedding. It was the most magical day and I am forever grateful for her. Without her I would have been bridezilla, tearing through the tent setting up my own decor and possibly burning it down. She is the most capable, organized and driven person I have had the pleasure of working with. Thank you Farrever After Events!

All I can say is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! When looking at venues, we fell in love with the Osprey's! It's so beautiful inside and out and just a perfect location right on the water to take the most gorgeous pictures! Our coordinator was Meghan and she was the cherry on top to our whole experience. She was quick to respond to any emails or questions I had and made our wedding day flow smoothly with our timeline that we wanted. Very detailed and is a pro at what she does! She checked in on us, made sure our decor was all in the right place, worked closely with our dj, packed up all of our stuff at the end of the night, you name it she did it! I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone and would absolutely book again for other events! Our guests kept saying how beautiful the venue was, how much fun they had and how organized it all was.

My son, Garret, and his bride, Linh, had their wedding at the Osprey on September 8, 2018 and it was absolutely amazing! The ceremony was outside in front of the water and the view was beautiful. Meghan Farrar and her team did a phenomenal job setting up inside and out. As mother of the groom and the one who created all the flower arrangements and organized the decorations, I had many questions. Being that I live In Pennsylvania, it was tough for me because I wasn't local; Meghan immediately responded to my emails, answering questions and getting me measurements. I was concerned about getting things set up perfectly, but also I wanted to enjoy my son's special day. Meghan made sure everything was beautiful and once I saw what they had done I was amazed! The Osprey at Belmont Bay made Garrett and Linh's dream wedding come true. The Osprey is an absolutely beautiful venue and Meghan and her staff thoughtful, creative and professional.

We had a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception at The Osprey's! All of our guests were very impressed with the venue. I'm not going to lie, it was frustrating finding the right venue to hold such an important day at. While many other venues were impossible to even get an inquiry response from, Brooke answered the phone right away and set up a tour for us just a few days following. I knew right away that we didn't have to look any further. The Osprey's provided us an In-house coordinator, Meghan, who was the best at helping me every step of the way! I was calling and emailing her on a weekly basis and she helped with things from suggesting the perfect caterer to finding someone to make my table seating mirror for me just a few days prior to the wedding. She went above and beyond!

The Osprey's was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding. First of all, it's stunning: the view of the bay from their pergola is unbeatable and it was the perfect ceremony site. Plus their sprawling lush green grounds only add to the wonderful backdrop. Inside the building is no exception either; their huge dance floor and bar area made our guests very happy! And the dining room is beautiful. We had more than enough room for everything and had a lot of creative freedom with what we wanted to decorate. Many of our guests 'commented on how much they liked this venue. Meghan was amazing and such a pleasure to work with. She is smart, fast, organized, flexible and communicative. We had nothing to worry about in her hands- she made everything really easy on us. You can tell she cares about each and every person she works with. She supported and helped bring our wedding vision to life! The whole Osprey's team is great and super helpful and hardworking. I would have my next event there in a heartbeat and I recommend this venue to anyone!!!
