For Meghan Farrar
What couples
actually type.
These are not search volumes. Real volume needs a Google Ads account and nobody has one here, so rather than invent numbers I asked Google what it suggests when somebody starts typing. That is built from what people really search, so it tells you WHAT they ask and roughly in what order. It cannot tell you how many, and anything claiming to on a page like this is guessing.

Heading on the page
You’ve done all the planning.
The two lines Google prints
Before anybody sees a photograph
They see a blue headline and a gray line under it. Those are the literal tags each site hands over, copied off the live pages, and you can check both in ten seconds with view-source. They are above, beside the heading.
Nobody searches for a wedding coordinator in the United States
They search Northern Virginia, Alexandria, DMV. Not one of those words appears in any title or description on the current site. Every page of the rebuild names the area it serves.
Six of your seven pages look identical to a crawler
Only the home page has a description of its own, and six of seven have no H1, so a search engine cannot tell your coordination page from your gallery. All twelve rebuild pages carry their own title, description and heading.
Your best asset is stored as pictures
Eight reviews are written out in full and the rest are screenshots of The Knot and WeddingWire, which are blank rectangles to a crawler and to a screen reader. All 71 are transcribed on the rebuild, word for word.
Your photographs are filed under their filenames
The gallery alt text reads "Screen Shot 2022-01-26 at 10.47.54 AM.png" where it is there at all. Each of the 165 photographs on the rebuild is described by what is in it, which is what image search reads and what a screen reader says aloud.
Where the demand is
Eight things they ask, and what you have
Read the middle column against the right one. The number is how many distinct phrasings of that question came back, which measures how many ways people ask it rather than how many people ask.
| What they ask | Phrasings | What you have | Why it is worth writing |
|---|---|---|---|
| What a day-of coordinator actually doeswhat does a wedding coordinator do · day of coordinator duties · responsibilities | 56 | A sentence on your services page. | You have already written this one. | Hiring an officiant near youwedding officiant alexandria va · arlington · fairfax · leesburg · manassas · woodbridge | 32 | One page, 230 words, naming no town at all. | The clearest miss. People search this town by town, you are licensed in Virginia, and your officiating page does not say Alexandria once. |

The clearest single miss
They search for an officiant town by town
You are a licensed civil celebrant in Virginia. Your officiating page is 230 words and does not name a single town. These are the ones people actually type after “wedding officiant”, cut down to the ones you could reach:
- Alexandria
- Arlington
- Fairfax
- Leesburg
- Manassas
- Warrenton
- Woodbridge
- Fredericksburg
Towns people actually type after "wedding officiant", filtered to the ones you could reach. The harvest also turned up Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Lynchburg and a dozen others, and those stay off this list because a page for a town you would not drive to is a lie with an address on it.
What not to chase
Volume without intent
Four of the biggest clusters in the harvest are worth nothing to you, and they are the ones somebody selling SEO would put in front of you first.
- “Virginia marriage license” looks huge and is not yours It is one of the biggest clusters here. Almost all of it is people looking up a record: lookup, database, copy, form, number. They are not planning a wedding, they are doing paperwork, and a page chasing them brings visitors who were never going to book.
- 18 of the officiant searches want to BECOME one How to become a wedding officiant in Virginia, requirements, registration. Also not a customer. Those are stripped out of the 32 above.
- Three of the rain searches are superstition What it MEANS if it rains on your wedding day. Lovely, irrelevant.
- Half of everything harvested was somebody else’s city Houston, Bozeman, Edinburgh. Real demand, for a coordinator who is not you.
And then the real answer
Search Console beats all of this
All of this is guesswork next to what Search Console will tell you once it is switched on, because that is what people typed to find YOU rather than what Google guesses people type. It is free and it is ten minutes. Until then, this is the best honest guess available.

Worth the trouble?
Every number here came from a script you can run again, and the four traps are on the page because leaving them off would have made the case look stronger than it is.
